Superhero film Spider Man 4 was delayed script issues, Columbia Pictures said in a statement that it has scrapped plans to release "Spider-Man 4" in 2011, opting instead to "reboot" the popular franchise in 2012 without actor Tobey Maguire and Director Sam Raimi.
