Volvo S60 Polestar Trailer Released

Swedish automaker, Volvo, has confirmed the reports of making a tuned Volvo S60. Volvo has unveiled a photo and a trailer of the Polestar-tuned S60. The car will be named as ‘S60 Polestar’ and it will be presented on 16th of June at the Gothenburg City Race. Volvo S60 Polestar is being compared to the highly potential cars like Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG fighter and BMW M3. Volvo hasn’t revealed its details for the S60 Polestar, yet it is expected that, S60 will add more excitement to the riders.

The Volvo S60 is powered by 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine with 300 horsepower. In future, a highly modified V6 petrol unit is likely to be adopted for the car. A square Polestar badge is also attached at the front grille of the car. As per the recent rumors, S60 will have five to six turbocharged cylinders along with alloy wheels and a quad exhaust system from German tuner, Heico Sportiv. From the released picture, we can make out that the car gets a bigger sporty wheel, a lowered ride height and a body kit. Volvo S60 has got a powerful turbocharged engine and outstanding build quality. In addition, the car may possibly come fitted with a Haldex all-wheel drive system and a sequential gearbox. The S60 Polestar is inspired by the racing car that is expected to compete in the Swedish TTA Racing Series in 2012.
