The desire of man to make a perfect four wheeler has been continuous from the time when the 4 wheeler initiated. People of America are very hectic about all the new things including cars. Although 2011 is only half-way over but Americans are already seeking fresh wheels to fill out time on the road. There are many new models of the cars set to hit the streets. When the buyer wants to buy a car he looks for speed, comfort and appearance of the car. Here are listed ten upcoming awaited cars which are priced below $5k and will go on sale within the next 18 months. The dates provided in this article may differ.

Ford Fiesta ST is going to be available in 2012 as three-door hatch. The price will be under $23,000. Ford Fiesta ST comes with Recaro racing seats, better suspension tuning, some unique trim, speed-rated performance tires, 17-inch wheels and dual exhaust. BMW i3 Electric City Car is another upcoming awaited car which will be available in early 2013. It will be the 1st mass produced car which will be “extensively” using carbon fiber to reduce the weight of vehicle. It will be 4 four-passenger car that accelerates from 0-60 mph in about 8 seconds and from 0-40 mph in around 3.5 seconds.

Chevrolet will launch 2 cars such as Camaro ZL1 and Corvette C7 in 2012. Camaro ZL1 will be available in January 2012 while Corvette C7 will be available in late 2012. Camaro ZL1 will come with 6.2-liter LSA V8 engine which will put out about 550 horsepower. Corvette C7 is a luxury sports car which will be same as the previous version but material and the interior quality will be enhanced for the rider comfort. The body of Corvette C7 is made by using a light but strong carbon fiber.
