Tim Smiths Bicycle Stolen

Tim Smith’s bicycle was stolen, Man Who Aided Bicycle Theft Plan Has Bike Stolen. One of the former Fort Lauderdale Commissioner who helped create a program to combat bicycle theft had his bike stolen while trying to help people who are involved in a road accident. Tim Smith, a former Fort Lauderdale city commissioner, saw a road accident while he was bicycling to the beach.

Smith left his bike on the pavement to offer its assistance to the drivers of the car crash. When Smith returned to his bike, he found it was stolen.To add insult to injury, Smith as a commissioner had failed pressed for a city wide bike registration program to help police track stolen bicycles. But when he contacted police to report his stolen bicycle, he had to admit it was not registered.

It was ironic, since Smith had pushed for an anti-bike theft plan, but he did not follow its own rule to get their bike registered. Tim Smith admitted his bike when he was unregistered police report.
