Thai protesters call for reinforcements in capital

Anti-government protester showing no sign of degradation after seven weeks of protests, said Saturday that fans from all over the country sent strengthening to fortify their camp in the Thai capital.

With talks flanked by protesters and authorities around and hope for a nonviolent end to the dispute over the declining growth requires global mediators to be brought in to bridge the gap between the two parties.

The protester have barricaded streets and paralyzed much of the commercial center for weeks in a campaign to force the administration to dissolve parliament and call elections. At least 27 people were killed and nearly 1,000 wounded in the ensuing violence between demonstrators and security armed forces.

Some officials have spoken hope that the protesters will be tired and go home soon, but Weng Tojirakarn, a red shirt leader, said they planned to beef their attendance in the streets of the capital.
