Texas and Oklahoma wildfires

Fast-moving wildfires have meant an early start to the holiday for youngsters in two counties in northern Texas.

Officials ordered their schools evacuated.

The Texas Forest Service says several businesses near the town of Electra were burned by one of the fires that are being fanned by winds so strong that air tankers have been grounded.

The fire danger is being made worse because much of Texas is suffering drought.
