Tata Power FY10 Net Profit at Rs9476.50 MN

Tata Power Company Ltd has posted a net profit after tax and statutory appropriations Rs 9476.50 mn for the year ended 31 March 2010 compared to RS 9675.00 MN for the year ended 31 March 2009. Total income has decreased from Rs 78685.80 MN for the year ended 31 March 2009 to Rs 73798.50 one million for the year ended 31 March 2010.

For the consolidated period for the year ended 31 March 2010, the Group posted a profit after statutory appropriations Rs 19757.30 mn for the year ended 31 March 2010 compared with RS 12640.40 million for the year ended March 31, 2009. Total income has increased from Rs 186252.60 MN for the year ended 31 March 2009 to Rs 195747.20 MN for the year ended 31 March 2010.
