Michael Jackson Funeral Tickets Available at Staples Center

The king of pop Michael Jackson Funeral service will be held on the Tuesday 7th of July, 2009 at 10:00 a.m., at the Staples Center in Downtown Los Angeles, California and simulcast inside to Nokia Theatre Los Angeles LIVE across the street. The memorial service will be held in two sessions, one at 10 a.m and the other at 12 p.m. Staples Center has been chosen as the venue for an official public Michael Jackson Memorial.

MJ’s Funeral Tickets will be available to the general public and will be free of charge, but one unconfirmed report claims tickets will go on sale at $25 each. A limited number of free tickets to both venues will be made available for Michael Jackson’s fans to attend. 17,500 Tickets will be available at staplescenter.com, 6,500 for viewing at the nearby Nokia Theater and there will be 11,000 tickets for seats inside Staples Center.

The Tickets registration is available for US residents only, and is open from 10:00am Friday July 3, 2009 to 6:00pm on Saturday July 4, 2009. 8,750 names will be randomly selected to receive two tickets each to either Staples Center or Nokia Theatre. Only one entry per individual will be accepted.

Now you have a crowd-control problem." The service will be broadcast live on local TV networks, so fan that do not get tickets were encouraged to watch the service from the comfort of their own homes.
