"Smile Pinki" won the oscars for Best Documentary Short Subject. Smile Pinki was nominated for Best Documentary Short Subject. Smile Pinki is a 39 minute long film about two girls, Pinki and Ghutaru. Pinki and Ghutaru from a village called Mirzapur in Uttar Pradesh.

Documentary

Smile Pinki made in Bhojpuri and Hindi. Smile Pinki marks their journey from Mirzapur to Varanasi's GS Memorial Plastic Surgery Hospital. Smile Pinki has been directed by documentary filmmaker Megan Mylan. The music director is an Indian, guitarist R Prasanna.
