PNB Q4 net up 31.13 pc; declares dividend of Rs 12|share

Public sector lender Punjab National Bank today said net profit rose by 31.13 per cent to Rs 1135 crore for the fourth quarter finished 31 March 2010, in the same period last year.

Total income rose to Rs 6,460.78 crore for the quarter ended 31 March, from Rs 6047.94 crore in the same period last year, "said Punjab National Bank (GDP) of a register system for the Bombay Stock Exchange.

For the year ended 31 March 2010, the company reported a net profit of Rs 3905.35 crore up 26.35 percent in the same year ago period.

Shares of PNB were trading at Rs 1040 on BSE, down 0.31 percent from the preceding close.
