Pakistan Partially Lifts Block On YouTube

Pakistan jointly bid last week, YouTube contains content considered blasphemous, the day after it broke off access to the online community Facebook so far, because the online competition to draw the prophet Mohammed.

"We have lifted the ban that the party does not seem something nasty or profane material," Naguibullah Malik, Secretary IT and telecommunications, told Reuters.

But although many videos related to competition, have been blocked, others remained accessible in Pakistan on Thursday morning.

Most Muslims consider any depiction of the Prophet Mohammed as blasphemous.

Malik said his department had acted alone to prevent YouTube, Facebook ban, but that the court orders.
