Pakistan lifts Facebook ban

Pakistan lifted the ban on Monday after officials Facebook social networking website has apologized for a site was considered offensive to Muslims and to remove content, the official edge of Information Technology said.

Removal came nearly two weeks after Pakistan banned in the mid anger on the page, which encourages users to send pictures of the prophet Muhammad. Facebook has assured the government of Pakistan that "anything like this happen in the future," says Malik.
