In the hours leading up to his first speech directed at the Muslim world, President Barack Obama met with President Hosni Mubarak and was given a tour of the Sultan Hassan Mosque. At the president's side was Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Mr. Obama also met with Mubarak to send a message that the United States is committed to working in partnership with the countries in the Middle East.
Other topics of discussion were the longtime conflict between Israel and Palestinians, as well as how to bring peace to the Middle East.
