Norway Spiral Light Video - Norway Spiral Light Hoax

A strange light appeared in the sky across Norway is called Norway Spiral. According to CNN it was neither the rogue galaxy closing in on Earth/a meteor hurtling toward the ground nor an early visit from Santa Claus. But after a strange swirl of blue light across the Norway's space center, all of those theories and more were suggested by puzzled callers that it is linked to a failed Russian missile test which was spotted in the sky Wednesday, 9 December, 2009 morning.

Pal Brekke, senior adviser at the Norwegian Space Centre in Oslo said that spiral image was extremely puzzling so he could not have any clue at that point. All over Norway, phenomenon could be seen around 8 a.m., a swirling light filling the sky and then seeming to explode.

The Russian Navy launched a Bulava ballistic missile on the same day has confirmed by the Russian Defense Ministry. But he has refused to make any link with the lights seen over Norway. The Russian Defense Ministry said the missile failed in the third stage of its trajectory, in a written statement which is as follows:

"Unstable work of the engine of the [missile's] third stage was detected by the monitoring systems," the statement said. "The causes of the technical error are being established by a state commission."

Brekke said his office has never had so much excitement in one day and he also said that it was really fun and interesting and it was nice that we actually guessed the right thing from the beginning.
