Nina Von Stauffenberg Biography

Nina von Stauffenberg born 27 August 1913, died April 2 2006.she was the wife of Colonel Claus von stauffenberg.her husband was the head of faild plot to assassinate Hitler on 20 July 1944. Nina met Claus Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg, a Roman Catholic, at the age of sixteen while attending a girls' boarding school Wieblingen, Heidelberg. They been recruited in his twenty third birthday and married three years later, 26 September 1933 in Bamberg.

Colonel von Stauffenberg and other members of the internal German resistance were shot and their families arrested by Gestapo.Ms. von Stauffenberg, was pregnant with their fifth child at the time was held in a camp in Frankfurt an der Oder, while the four other children were kept in an orphanage under false names.
