Thomas Byers of North Carolina claimed that he had captured the legendary Bigfoot on video. The video was shot in Shelby County, North Carolina. When Thomas Byers captured this 5 second video, Bigfoot was 15 to 20 feet away. Thomas Byers initially posted the Bigfoot video, details of the event and few pictures on his personal website and then he emailed video to WCNC NewsChannel 36. He also posted this video on youtube.
Image source: screencrave.com On 22nd March evening, he was driving with his friend Carolyn Wright when they both saw a big standing brown furry animal that is between six and seven feet tall coming out of the field next to the road. Thomas Byers jumped out of his truck and to capture Bigfoot crossing the highway he used a small video camera. While Thomas Byers was shooting the video, Bigfoot turned its head towards him and growled as it ran across the road. In the 5 second video, the Bigfoot roaring or growling at Thomas Byers can be heard. Thomas Byers said, "Bigfoot smelled like a cross between roadkill and a skunk". The claim of Byers that it had six toes has been proved as the creature also left footprints. The 5 second video of Bigfoot is out of focus, fuzzy, and doesn’t show sufficient detail to convince people that this is Bigfoot.
