As per the MSNBC statement, “biologists have confirmed that the hairless animal shot by a Kentucky man is not a chupacabra”. The Chupacabra attacks farm animal and drink their blood. The authorities for animal identified Raccoon as a Chupacabra due to its hairless body. But fact about the hairless body is that raccoon lost its hair due to skin disorder like alopecia in humans. Researchers of the University of Michigan said that the animals were actually mangy coyotes in many alleged sightings of chupacabras. Currently, biologist is studying on the skin samples of the Raccoon. Wildlife biologist Steven Dobey said that “It’s definitely a hideous creature. There's just no way around it. Without that fur it gives it a whole new appearance as to what it is." He also added, “The creature may also have become bald due to trauma, shock, a genetic defect, or viral infection”.
