Michael Jackson Will Filed Official Info

Pop music icon Michael Jackson died at the age of 50 on June 26, 2009 in Los Angeles at California. After his death, his lawyer John Branca filed Jackson's will in a Los Angeles County Probate court on Wednesday, July 1st 2009. This will was made by Jackson before 7 years dated on July 7th 2002 at that time his property was estimated at more than $ 500 million and his entire property was given to his family trust.

The will names his 79 years old mother, Katherine Jackson as the beneficiary of the trust and as the guardian of his three children. His former wife Debbie Rowe was not named in the will. The will also names entertainer Diana Ross as a successor guardian for the children if something happens to Katherine Jackson. Ross was a lifelong friend of Jackson and she introduced Jackson on the Ed Sullivan Show in the late 1960s and helped him in launching his career.

Jackson’s life long friend named as lawyer John Branca and a music industry executive John McClain were named as the executors of the will. The five-page will was signed by Jackson at the end of each paragraph and it includes Jackson’s scrawling initials. Santa Barbara Country officials told that there were no final decisions by the Jackson family for any funeral or memorial service at Neverland or in the country till Tuesday.

he didnt die on june 26th.

he died on june 25th, r.i.p i love you michael.
btw, i think the second person to look after his kids if anything happened to katherine should be janet, although i think diana would still be good, she wasnt family.
