Lynyrd Skynyrd Plane Crash Pics

A 56 year old Lynyrd Skynyrd Keyboard player Billy Powell, who's hit play "Sweet Home Alabama" and who is survived from the 1977 plane crash in which three band members killed , he was died on wednesday 28th Jan 2009 due to massive heart attack.

Powell Called 911 and say he was problem in breathing. rescue crew give CPR, but he was died with in a hour. he has a heart problem and missed his appointment with his doctor for a cardiac evaluation, and a heart attack is suspected as the cause of death.

Gary Rossington and Drummer Artimus Pyle are now only living members of "Lynyrd Skynyrd" the band's who survived from 1977 plane crash. in the said plane crash Lead Vocalist Ronnie Van Zant, Vocalist Cassie Gaines, Guitarist Steve Gaines and Allen Collins, Road manager Dean Kilpatrick, And Bassist Leon Wilkeson died.

Powell was born in Corpus Christi, Texas and study in Florida. after becoming majoring in music he became a roadie fro lynyrd skynyrd and performed an a band named alice marr. he was become a member of the band in 1970.

By the late 80 the remaining members of Lynyrd Skynyrd playing a series of reunion shows, with Johnny Van Zant also band launched a national tour in 1991. billy also recorded a solo album "second time around"

The band has cancelled shows scheduled for this weekend to Lousiana and Mississippi. band scheduled in may fro European.
