LTTE Prabhakaran Died | LTTE Chief Prabhakaran Dead Body Found Live Video
The Sri Lankan Army recovered LTTE chief Velupillai Prabhakaran’s body on Tuesday, putting to rest confusion over his death. LTTE (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam) supremo Prabhakaran’s body was revealed by the Sri Lankan army by the Nandikadal lagoon. His body was found in uniform with bullet wounds.
Sri Lankan state television on Today broadcast Video footage of what it said was the body of Tamil Tiger leader Velupillai Prabhakaran, with the face of the rebel leader visible. The face was whole, with the eyes broad open and bore a clear similarity to the insurgent leader. The Body bore bullet injuries on head.
LTTE Supremo Velupillai Prabhakaran was murdered by the army. Brigadier Nanayakkara said that Prabhakaran, who was the major architect of a 26-year civil combat that claimed more than 70,000 lives, had been shot, probably in violent fighting on Monday Morning.
On Monday the Government Statement also said that the body of Prabhakaran, 54-year-old, had been taken under special guard to a military base for autopsy and DNA testing. Prabhakaran had been killed when a rocket was fired into an ambulance being driven at advancing Sri Lankan Special Forces troops, or that the government had said the body had been badly burned.
