LTTE chief Prabhakaran killed by Lanka Army. According to News report The LTTE leader Velupillai Prabhakaran was shot dead on monday while trying to flee in an ambulance. Prabhakaran killed With Two others person inside vehicle and vehicle has caught fire upon firing by the troops.

Very recent news is that LTTE leader Velupillai Prabhakaran was 54 killed by the Sri Lankan special force. It has been conformed by the Sri Lanka's state television at Rupavahini in a special news bulletin. The Sri Lankan Government has ordered a DNA test on his body and to be fully sure about his death.

The body of LTTE chief Prabhakaran was found in the war zone. He was killed in the coastal belt of Mullaitivu district which is around 395 km northeast of Colombo. Prabhakaran and his top assistants came out of their last hiding place in a small fleet of van and an ambulance and tried to drive out of the war zone but before they were shot by the Sri Lankan special force. And the Tiger chief was killed with two assistants who are identify as his closest associates LTTE intelligence chief Pottu Amman and Sea Tigers' chief Soosoi. Prabhakaran and more than 220 frontier mutineer cadres with his elder son Charles Anthony killed by the Army.

A day after Tamil Tigers approved defeat saying the decades-old battle has reached its “bitter end” and they have decided to “silence” their guns, the news of top LTTE leaders have come.
