Has Lady Gaga seen this yet? Lacoste challenged Chinese artist, Li Xiaofeng to create two different polo shirts of porcelain for the 2010 Holiday Collector’s Series. This porcelain polo, is escorted by a printed polo, made by the same artist ( limited to 20,000 pieces for both men and women). The print is based on blue and white shards from the Kangxi Period (1662-1722) of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1912), a time when both China and the art of porcelain production were at their apogee. How did you become involved with LACOSTE for this project? What was your impression of LACOSTE before you started working on this project? |
