Keri Shryock Photo: Xavier University Graduate Student Dies In Fall. A spokesman said the church 23 years Keri Shryock died Thursday morning at the University Hospital.

A Crossroads Community Church, spokesman confirmed that Shryock was a graduate student at Xavier University.

Shryock played the role of a wise man in a contemporary Nativity story and was suspended by an overhead cable when it fell Wednesday night.She fell to the floor in the aisle and does not move according to witnesses.

A spokesman for the church says its not clear how the accident happened.We are shocked and deeply saddened by this tragic accident of the church said in a statement.

The church has canceled the 10 remaining performance spectacle of Christmas to provide all the actors space to continue the process of mourning said the statement.

The church planned a gathering of prayer, reflection and worship for tonight. The nondenominational mega church was founded in 1996 reports the AP.

Shryock, of Sylvania Ohio was also a 2008 graduate of Bowling Green State University. She worked at the Office of suburbs and off-campus living at Xavier University
