Jon Stewart hammered Jim Cramer and his network, CNBC, in their anticipated face off on "The Daily Show". In an interview taped on Thursday that went far beyond its allotted time, Jon Stewart repeatedly chastised the "Mad Money" host Jim Cramer and CNBC for putting entertainment above journalism.
Stewart said he and Cramer is selling snake oil just "The Daily Show" labeled as such. He claimed CNBC shirked its journalistic duty by assuming that, instead of detection techniques powerful tool for lighting. And he claimed CNBC was finally in bed with the companies that are subject to regular people were capitalization stocks and 401Ks your adventure. Cramer disagreed with Stewart on a few points, but most acknowledged that he would have done a better job anticipating the economic collapse. Cramer said CNBC was "fair game" on the criticism and recognized the network was perhaps again to believe that the information was fed from the companies. At one point, Cramer said the reformed sinner who responds to Stewart's plea for more level headed, fair comment "How about I try that?" Cramer said, "I will do it."
