She was snatched by kidnappers almost two decades ago. Missing victim Jaycee Lee Dugard had been found in good health in the Bay Area confirmed by the El Dorado County Sheriff's office.
When Jaycee Lee Dugard was 11 years old, she was kidnapped from in front of her South Lake Tahoe home in 1991. The woman believed to be Dugard is now 29. Two person Philllip, 58, and his wife Nancy Garrido, 54, both were arrested for charges of kidnapping and commit rape. Court records said that they both are behind bars on $1 million bail. Phillip Garrido is a convicted sex offender. Phillip Garrido faces charges of kidnapping to commit rape, rape by force or fear, lude acts with a minor, sexual penetration and conspiracy to commit a crime. Garrido had renamed to Jaycee as “Allissa” and he is a father of two children. Jaycess's mother Terry Probyn told that her daughter had been held against her will all these years and confined in a box in the back of the Garrido's house to ABC News. Jaycee had been held captive at a house in Antioch, California, since the day she was abducted and none of their neighbors ever knew said by undersheriff Fred Kollar. As a "hidden back yard", he explained the location within a larger yard that was arranged in such a way "to isolate the victims from outside contact." He also added that entrance to the secret yard was guarded by a 6-foot-tall fence, tall trees and a tarp. In addition, there were two tents in the yard. A news conference was held by the El Dorado County Sheriff's Department and FBI on Thursday 27/8/09 at 3 p.m. to discuss the missing person case of Jaycee Dugard. When she was 11 years old, Garrido admitted to having kidnapped Dugard under questioning. Her step-father Carl Probyn said that he had personally given up hope. He had just hoped for a recovery and to find the people responsible. The kidnapping horrified the small community and led to a massive manhunt. It's Phillip Garrido, a convicted sex offender and the abductor and likely rapist of Jaycee Lee Dugard, a vile wasteland of human scum who should probably be beaten severely and given a one way ticket to the whacko basket. He claims to have been given a device from God who taught Phillip how to speak with his mind, and he distributed the literature on the campus of University of California, Berkeley – one of the greatest centers of scientific learning in the U.S. Locking up this nut job, though it won't take large guaranteed loans at this point, would be well worth it.
