Jack Tatum Joined Ohio State Football

Jack Tatum is a former American football defensive back who played ten seasons from 1971 to 1980 for the Oakland Raiders and Houston Oilers in the National Football League. He was joined Ohio State on field tonight against USC. Jack Tatum was Ohio State’s honorary captain as they battled the Trojans. He was also known as popularly "Assassin."

Jack Tatum was first-team All-Big Ten in 1968, 1969 and 1970. Tatum also earned All American by unanimous vote in 1969 and 1970 and 1970’s National Defensive Player of the Year.
