IBM Kicks Off Spending Spree With Sterling Commerce

CEO Sam Palmisano said assembly IBM investors earlier this month that the company intends to use 20 billion in acquisitions over the next five years. IBM announced Monday the first billion dollars in 2010 to acquire Sterling Commerce AT & T $ 1.4 billion in cash.
If IBM does much of its intention to use $ 20 million takeover bids between 2010 and 2015, it is accelerating faster than the acquisition of IBM has been maintained since Palmisano took over the post of CEO in March 2002 .

IBM has spent about U.S. $ 14 billion to acquire 70 companies since 2002, when Mark Loughridge presentation, Vice President and CFO of IBM. Nearly half of these transactions was adsorbed on the color for the last three years. From 2007 to 2009, IBM acquired the company in 1933 USD 9,000,000,000, and investments in companies focused on the analysis.
