Abortion Doctor George Tiller Shot & Killed
George Tiller, abortion doctor, killed at his Kansas church. Dr. George Tiller, one of the few American physicians who performed late-term abortions, was shot to death in the lobby of his church today in Wichita, Kan. The Deputy Police Chief Tom Stolz said, the gunman run away but 51-year old suspect was arrested some 170 miles away in suburban Kansas City three hours after the shooting. They did not release his name but may be his name is Scott Roeder.
Tiller, 67-year old, was the subject of much anger from abortion opponents, as his clinic was one of the few in the United States that performed late-tern abortions. The murder of Doctor George Tiller is a hateful act of violence, and his family is in our thoughts and prayers at this tragic moment. President Barack Obama said he was shocked and outraged over the killing.
Tiller was shot in the guns and his clinic was bombed. I think it is not the common ground we have been talking about finding in the abortion debate.
