George Denis Patrick Carlin better known as George Carlin, who was a star American Stand up comedian.He was also actor and author, who had won four Grammy Awards for his comedy albums. On June 18, 2008, he announced as the 2008 honoree of the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor and the same announcement was announced four days before his death. According to center's Chairman, Stephen A Schwarzman, "In his long career as a comedian, writer and actor, George Carlin not only made us laugh, but he makes us think. His influence on the next generation of comics has been far-reaching." Many Leading stars like Jon Stewart, Bill Maher any many more will honor the late George carlin in the Kennedy Center Concert hall at the award for American Humor which was held on Monday, November 10, at 8:00pm.
