Popular Telugu actress Genelia D'Souza was born on August 5, 1987 in England.Her parents first of all lived in Goa then after moved to England. Genelia made her move from England to India in chase of her childhood dream of becoming an actress.
In the movie 'Boys' she got her first role, which was directed by Shankar. The film was a box-office hit and soon Genelia started getting more roles. She studied at Apostolic Carmel High School in Bandra, a suburb in Mumbai. After school, she joined the St. Andrews College, Bandra for a Bachelor's Degree.
Genelia became red-hot property in the Telugu film industry, after the success of her Telgu movie 'Bommarillu'. She earlier acted in Tujhe Meri Kasam and Masti. She was also a state level athlate player and a national level football player. She has worked in Indian films in Telgu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada languages. Genelia has reportedly bagged the role of leading lady opposite Aamir Khan's nephew Imraan Khan in his debut movie 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na'. She never posed in Bikini.
