Edward McMahon diedEdward Leo Peter “Ed” McMahon, an American comedian, announcer, game show host and television personality was died at the age of 86 on Tuesday June 23, 2009. Ed McMahon’s publicist, Howard Bragman told that he died in the morning at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, at California and all his family members including his wife were with him at the time of his death. The reason of his death is unknown but it seems that McMahon had many health problems from last few months. McMahon spent few weeks in the ICU fighting against bone cancer and other medical problems. He was well known for his work on the television as Johnny Carson’s announcer on “The tonight show”. He worked for 30 years in this show since 1962 to 1992. He was also the host of the talent show called as Star Search and co-host with Dick Clark on TV Bloopers and Practical Jokes from 1982 to 1998. He was the co-host of the annual Labor Day weekend Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon. It was his 41st and last appearance in the year of 2008. He faced serious financial problems in the last few years even with all the money he made in his long career. He was forced to sell his multi-million-dollar mansion in 2008 because of his personal economic condition. Ed McMahon Dead
