A normal Chinese mother has given birth to the abnormal baby boy, Chun Chun, weighing 15.52 pounds (7kg) which is twice the weight of a normal child. Pleasingly, the baby holds the record for being the China’s Heaviest Newborn Baby. It was the first day of the spring in the Chinese calendar and the Chinese family in Xinxiang city, Henan, got this 'dragon baby' in form of the blessing. Before this, his 29 year old mother had also given birth to a baby girl, which weighted healthy 8 pounds normally.
Han Jingang, father of the heaviest baby stated about her wife that she was common pregnant women and there was nothing unusual about her diet during pregnancy still she has given birth to such a big, fat son. Both parents are average-size and when it comes to the delivery, it was also normal in terms and took just 20 minutes. Chun Chun’s mother also mentioned about her pregnancy variations that she ever felt, like her baby belly was growing slightly larger compared to her previous pregnancy, else her body was clumsier than at the time of her pregnancy with her daughter.
As per the Guinness World Records, the heaviest newborn baby who ever recorded, weighed 23 pounds (10.8kgs) and was born in 1879 in Ohio, but unfortunately died shortly after. Here, Chun Chun’s father is delighted that his son was born healthy and we hope that he remains in healthy condition!
