Bomb Threat At Sierra College Rocklin campus

The campus of Sierra College in Rocklin was evacuated due to threats of bombs and a possible armed gunman on campus and it has been mostly cleared according to authorities. But officials of reported late Monday that classes are scheduled to resume on Tuesday at its usual time.

Public information officer of Sierra College, Sue Michaels said that there was the overhead the threat on campus by someone. Police Chief which is from community college, Greg Murphy decided to evacuate the campus as a precaution. 

Michaels said on Monday evening that the command of incident had been activated, Rocklin Police Department was on campus and the all classes had been canceled. Campus Police of Sierra College received a call at 5.55 p.m. by the person who claimed that some people have armed and there were bombs on campus. But Police Department of the college were no found any bombs or such types of suspicious items and then Police said that Classes will resume on Tuesday morning and the campus had been reopened. The Incident command Team of Sierra College said that if anyone wants to informed to the college about anything of a suspicious nature they immediately contact at (916) 660-7120. Campus Police reported that they worked in unified command with Rocklin Police and Roseville Police to secure the campus.
