50,000 permanent Green Cards are issued each year through the Diversity Immigrant Visa Program, the Green Card Lottery by the Government of United States. Applicants are chosen randomly by a computer generated drawing and they receive chance to live and work permanently in the United States. They will be also allowed to bring their family to the United States and any children who is unmarried and under the age of 21. Applicants must meet all the requirements such as Claim nativity in an eligible country and meet either the education or training requirements to participate in Green Card Lottery. Applicants must be born in an eligible country if not then their spouse was born in an eligible country or both parents were born in an eligible country, to enter the lottery. Applicants must be studied in either high school education or its equivalent, in the U.S. for a 12-year course of elementary and secondary education or have two years of work experience within the past five years to enter the lottery. After providing all required information such as name, birth place, date of birth, spouse and children information, their recent photos and address, submit the application electronically directly to the official DV Lottery website. This program is open for twenty four hours a day seven days a week. One applicant can submit only one application. Applicants will need to take the photographs with the use of a digital camera or a scanned image of a photographic print. Only scanned images can be submitted by applicants. |
