An autopsy on singer Amy Winehouse failed to determine what killed the 27-year-old star, leaving fans and family with a weeks-long wait for the results of toxicology tests. Her funeral is held today. Jewish customs normally require a funeral to take place within 24 hours of death. However, Amy's had to be delayed in order for post-mortem examinations to be carried out. The post-mortem was conducted at the St Pancras Mortuary, with the formal inquest adjourned to October 26 in a two-minute hearing at St Pancras Coroner's Court. The toxicology results were not expected for two to four weeks. |
