Actress Carol Cole Dead at 64

American Singer Natalie Cole's sister, Carol "Cookie" Cole has died at age of 64. Natalie Cole's joy at getting a new kidney has been marred by calamity - her adopted sister, Carol Cole died as the star equipped for the life-saving transplant operation on Monday.

Publicist, Maureen O’Connor, said Carol Cole died on Monday, the same day Natalie received a kidney transplant. While the performer and earlier drug addict sat reassuring Natalie Cole’s cancer-sickened sister, Carol Cole, she got a pressing call from her own doctors said a kidney was obtainable for her own life-prolonging operation.

Timolin Cole is Natalie Cole’s third sister. Natalie Cole’s Younger sister Timolin Cole told press, Carol Cole was never ill in her life. Our sister Carol “Cookie” Cole had not been to a doctor in 30 years and last week she went in and they found a cancerous spot on her lung. They had wanted to start chemo right away, but Cookie said no.” Carol Cole appeared on her father’s "The Nat King Cole Show" on television in the 1950s.
