ABC Television channel new drama pilot is "Flash Forward" written by David S. Goyer (Story Writter of Batman Begins, and Blade) and Brannon Braga (Story Writter of Enterprise, and Threshold) and loosely based on Robert J. Sawyer's 1999 novel of the same name. The book is a science fiction novel by Canadian author Robert J. Sawyer first published in 1999.
The Flash Forward novel is set in a fictionalized and anticipatory futuristic year 2009.
