
Actor Gary Coleman has died after being hospitalized for a fall at his home. According to TMZ, Coleman passed away at 12:05 PM Mountain Standard Time with his family by his side. He was 42. Born Feb. 8, 1968, in Zion, Ill., Coleman launched his prime-time career at age 9 after catching the eye of producer Norman Lear.While best known for his role on Diff’rent Strokes, Coleman had appeared earlier on The Jeffersons and on Good Times as Penny’s friend Gary. He also appeared in a 1978 pilot for a revival of The Little Rascals as Stymie. R.I.P. Mr. Coleman you will be missed. |
