Steve Jobs's Leave Apple at Tricky Time

The sudden absence of CEO Steve Jobs could not come at a more challenging time for Apple. Steve Jobs is taking leave from Apple of health reasons. The Cupertino, Califonia company had a strong pace in the last several years, its Macintosh computers, posted double-digit revenue growth and the latest iPhone model centuries Apple into the ranks of the top smartphone decision makers.

Recently, the Commerce Department said spending in December fell from November and fell 10% from the year before, the biggest annual decline since the department began keeping records in 1968.

Even as analysts and investors were raising questions about how Apple will navigate the changed environment. Jobs sent a message to Apple employees, saying that he was taken off to June, were released to the media after the market closed.

Apple shares fell only $ 1.95 a share, to $ 83.38 from the Wednesday close as several analysts and investors said they remained confident in Apple's management team, even without Mr. Jobs. "Steve Jobs is a symbol of the company, but Apple will survive with new leaders."
