Global Trends 2025: A Transformed World report by NIC
National Intelligence Council (NIC) announced the fourth unclassified report entiled as "Global Trends 2025: A Transformed World".
It gives a new perspective on how major global trends may develop in the next 15 years to influence world events. The ODNI report, "Global Trends 2025: One World" project a more-preeminent joined by U.S. power fast development, including India and China, on top of a multipolar international system. The NIC report, a draft copy of which was entitled "Global Trends 2025: A SECURITY world," is slated for release as early as Thursday. For more details Read here.
Global Trends 2025: A Transformed World report include following Rules
1. Muslim countries outside the Arab core - Turkey, Indonesia, even a post-clerical Iran - could take on the expanded role in the new international order.
2. Russia's emergence as a world power is clouded by lagging investment in the energy sector and the persistence of crime and corruption in government.
3. The impact of climate change will be uneven, with some North economies, including Russia and Canada benefit from longer growing seasons and improved access to resources reserves.
4. The probability that nuclear weapons be used will increase with greater access to technology and a wider range of options for limited strikes.
5. A global shift to a new technology to replace oil will examine whether realized in 2025.
6. Several financial centers will act as "shock absorbers" in the global financial system. The U.S. dollar's role will shrink as "primus inter pares" in a basket of major currencies in the world.
7. A government in Eastern or Central Europe could be effectively adopted and implemented by organized crime. In parts of Africa and South Asia, some countries can not wither when government security and other basic needs.
