The plans about making the world's largest McDonald's restaurant in London's Olympic Park have been recently announced by the world’s biggest supplier of garbage junk food, McDonald’s. The restaurant will be built on 32,000 square feet and 1,500 people can sit in the restaurant. A star team will be used by McDonald's to help in serving a projected 1.75 million meals during the games. 2,000 workers will be selected from the series’ top-selling franchises from all around the world. In the Olympics, Athletes break old records and make new history so this restaurant will provide food to them.
This park will be opened for the 2012 Olympics and it will be one of the four restaurants built in the region. Other restaurants will be situated in the Olympic Village, the Main Press Center, and in the Park. Only ticket owners will enjoy the foods from the record-breaking franchise, throughout the 29 days of the games. French architect Philippe Avanzi is designing the restaurant. After the games, all the units will be disassembled with their variety of components such as furniture and kitchen equipment and recycled into other McDonald’s locations.
