American Multinational Corporation, Apple Inc. has recently confirmed the opening of Hong Kong's first official Apple Store. The new Apple store will open on Saturday, 24th September 2011, at 9 a.m. Along with this major retail opening, Apple will also open another retail stores in Shanghai and online stores in the Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, and United Arab Emirates. The Apple’s new store is spread around 15000 square feet space in the IFC (International Finance Center) Mall which is a four-story shopping center based with over 200 retail stores.
The date of opening has been confirmed from the small new red sign which is placed on a stand in front of a doorway to the store. The construction of Apple store was started in June. Apple spent more than $20 million behind construction. According to prediction, more than 300 employees will be working on Apple's new store and they will serve approximately 40,000 customers everyday. Before its opening, Apple has already created a new Hong Kong retail page on its official site. The new location of Apple store will be the Apple’s fifth store in China together with two in Shanghai and two others in Beijing. Along with new Hong Kong store, Apple will launch iPad 2 tablet for the first time in China.
