A grizzly bear has attacked seven teenagers in Alaska, injuring four of them, Alaska State Troopers said on Sunday. The students were participating in a 30-day wilderness course in the Talkeetna Mountains near Anchorage. The seven teenagers were on the 24th day of a 30-day course and on their first day of their student expedition, in which students hike the remaining days of their course without instructors, according to the school. The students had either crossed or were crossing a creek when they came in contact with a bear that attacked the group. |
