Akshata Murthy, the 29-year-old daughter of Infosys founder and Chief Mentor Narayana Murthy, on Sunday tied the knot with her Stanford classmate Rishi Sunak, in a well-attended ceremony at the Hotel Leela Palace Kempinski, Bangalore.
The three-hour affair began with a traditional Indian wedding, followed by a typical vegetarian Karnataka lunch and reception.
Akshata, dressed in a resplendent orange ghagra-choli, and her husband Sunak, in a dapper suit, welcomed the guests at the Grand Ballroom. Attendees at the wedding were touched by the warmth and personal attention of the Murthy family.
