At least 5 school girls have been died in a run at a government school in a packed region of the India capital, Delhi, police & doctors say.
The rush in Khajuri Khas area in East Delhi also injured twenty four students. Doctors say 5 of girls are serious.
Spokesperson told the rush took place when some of girl students, who attempted to run down a thin stairway, crashed into a group of boys moving up.
The school is waterlogged next a night of intense heavy rain in Delhi.
Previous reports told the rush was flashed by rumors that electric current had went into water due to an electric short circuit.
The injured have been taken to Guru Teg Bahadur hospital in Shahdara...
